Terms of Service for Teleprompt

    Agreement to Terms

    By downloading, installing, or using Teleprompt ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

    Description of Service

    Teleprompt is a teleprompter application that displays scrolling text in a Picture-in-Picture overlay, allowing you to read scripts while using other apps such as the Camera.

    Subscription Terms

    Free Tier

    The free version of Teleprompt includes:

    • Up to 2 scripts
    • Up to 10 script creations/edits
    • Up to 10 file imports
    • Basic teleprompter functionality

    Premium Subscription

    Premium unlocks unlimited access to all features, including:

    • Unlimited scripts
    • Unlimited edits
    • Unlimited file imports
    • Voice Activity Detection (auto-pause when speaking)

    Subscription Pricing and Billing

    • Monthly: $4.99 USD per month
    • Yearly: $39.99 USD per year (save 30%)

    Automatic Renewal

    Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

    Managing Subscriptions

    You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:

    1. Go to Settings on your device
    2. Tap your name at the top
    3. Tap Subscriptions
    4. Select Teleprompt to manage or cancel

    Cancellation

    If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.

    Free Trial

    If a free trial is offered and you have not previously redeemed a free trial, you may be eligible. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

    User Responsibilities

    You agree to:

    • Use the App only for lawful purposes
    • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
    • Not use the App in any way that could damage or impair it

    Intellectual Property

    The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Applifyer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

    Content Ownership

    You retain ownership of all scripts and content you create within the App. We do not claim any rights to your content.

    Disclaimer of Warranties

    The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

    Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

    Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by updating this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

    Governing Law

    These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
